Activating your Prepaid SIM

Place the SIM card into a handset and activate it by dialling 100.  Once activation is complete, put the SIM into the Web Box SIM card slot.

Network preference

The Web Box supports EDGE and GPRS.  It does not support 3G/HSDPA.

Prepaid or Contract

This product is launching with a Prepaid SIM, but a 24 month contract will be available soon.

This Vodafone device is built by ZTE and it runs the Android Operating System.  It uses Opera Mini 5.0 as a web browser, which reduces browsing costs by up to 90% and increases download speed.  The device comes with a 2 GB micro SD Memory card that allows you to store media such as images, videos and music.  Besides additional applications like games, weather and news, the Vodafone Web Box furthermore boasts connectivity to the country-wide Vodacom EDGE network.
