HOW TO BUY Vodacom Prepaid/Top Up data bundles online:

Recharge Standard and Advanced data bundles DIRECT and PINLESS to your 3G modem SIM!

Prepaid and Top Up customers often complain about the schlep of converting vouchers and airtime to data bundles via a cellphone or Vodacom’s website.  This is why Vtime introduced Data Direct – data bundles recharged pinless and direct to your modem SIM.

You can recharge multiple numbers by creating multiple beneficiaries on your internet banking.

It is as easy as 1-2-3:

1. Register Vtime as a permanent beneficiary on your internet banking.  Banking details are available on the Home page (www.vtime.co.za).  Use your cell number and SUFFIX as “Beneficiary Reference”.
   What is the SUFFIX?
   Cell number  & “SDAT” (with no spaces) if you want to purchase Vodacom Standard data or cell number & “ADAT” (with no spaces) if you want to purchase Vodacom Advanced data.

   For AIRTIME: cell number & “AIR”	Example: 0821234567AIR
   For STANDARD DATA: cell number & “SDAT”	Example: 0821234567SDAT
   For ADVANCED DATA:  cell number & “ADAT”	Example: 0821234567ADAT

2. Now choose the data bundle you would like to purchase and use the table below to look up its rand value.  When you EFT the rand value of your chosen data bundle to Vtime, together with the appropriate Beneficiary Reference, your SIM will be recharged direct and pinless with data.
   
   Example for Standard data:
   You EFT R159 with Beneficiary Reference “0821234567SDAT” to Vtime and your 3G modem will be recharged with the MyMeg 500 STANDARD data bundle.
   
   Example for Advanced data:
   You transact R165 with Beneficiary Reference “0821234567ADAT” and your 3G modem will be recharged with the MyMeg 400 ADVANCED data bundle.
3. You will receive your data promptly and directly to your modem SIM.  An SMS will be sent to your 3G modem SIM to confirm that you have been recharged.

This is super convenient!  You will never have to visit a shop to buy a voucher, remove your modem SIM to a handset, struggle to type in long pin numbers or make a phone call to convert airtime to data again!  You will never have to buy airtime through one online mechanism and then convert it to data through another online mechanism.  Data Direct will simplify your life by recharging your data bundles in an easy and effective way.

Please note:

• Standard data bundle sizes and prices have changed since 19 September 2011.
• Prepaid customers can recharge with either Standard or Advanced data bundles.
• Top Up customers need to be aware of their contract type.  If you have an Advanced Top Up contract, you will only be able to load Advanced data bundles and if you have a Standard Top Up contract, you will only be able to load Standard data bundles.
• Vtime cannot recharge Vodacom Contract customers with data.
