Make use of your internet banking future dated payments to set up weekly or monthly payments in advance.  You can stop or change the future dated payments to suit your lifestyle.  It is like having a contract – without having a contract!

Vtime for business:
Do you provide your employees with airtime or data bundles?  Have you ever handed out cash and hoped it will be used for airtime?  Are you tired of buying and handing out vouchers on a regular basis?
Rather create a group of beneficiaries on your internet banking.  Use your employees’ names and cell numbers (with the appropriate suffixes) as individual beneficiaries within the beneficiary group.  Type the employee’s name in the “Your Reference” field, and the employee’s cell number with suffix (no spaces) in the “Beneficiary Reference” field (e.g. 0821234567AIR for airtime, 0821234567SDAT for Standard data or 0821234567ADAT for Advanced data).  Now your admin staff can manage regular employee recharges.

  • ABSA “Description for Beneficiary Statement”
  • FNB “Recipient Reference”
  • Nedbank “Beneficiary statement description”
  • Standard Bank   “Beneficiary reference”

Monitoring your balance:

It is easy to monitor your airtime or data balance and to view your transaction history.  Simply register at
www.vodacom.co.za and click on “View monthly statement” under “My account”.

SMS Bundles:

SMS’s are much cheaper when you buy SMS bundles.  Buy airtime via Vtime, register at www.vodacom.co.za and click on “Purchase data bundles” under “My account”.

Data Bundles:

If you are using a Vodacom 3G modem, you can buy Data Direct from Vtime.  Remember to indicate your product choice with the suffix in your Beneficiary Reference (e.g. 0821234567SDAT for Standard data or 0821234567ADAT for Advanced data), EFT the specific amount of your chosen data bundle and Vtime will recharge your cell number with the data bundle.  You don’t have to convert airtime to data. You also don’t have to remove your 3G SIM, put it into your cellphone and type in a voucher PIN.  Vtime will simply recharge the data bundle directly to your cellphone or modem.  You will receive an SMS to your 3G modem to confirm that you have been recharged.

To make your data bundle valid for 60 days, make your purchase on the first day of the month.  Data bundles are valid only until the last day of the next month.  For example, whether you buy your data on 1 May or on 20 May, it will be valid until the last day of June.

When you call Vodacom Customer Care on 111 or 155 from a Vodacom cell phone, it is a free call.  You can also call them from any other phone on 082 111 or 082 155, but then standard rates will apply.
